Summer Monsoons

The heat is upon us, monsoons are building daily, torrential rains have caused flash floods all over this state. Tonto Creek near our new home is flowing again after several dry months. The humidity is high, which makes it impossible to cool our place with the swamp cooler.
Hummingbirds are nesting in the barn. Our new dog is adjusting to her new pack.
The Turkey Vultures love the up-drafts from these Anvil Clouds that can rise to 30,000 ft! They circle together playing on the winds high above us, just specks to the naked eye.
We lounge in the shade with iced limeade in hand as the dogs splash in their pool on this hot summer afternoon.
